This PRCA Tour Rodeo boasts a unique combination of traditional rodeo events, along with a variety of other acts sure to entertain. Fans of all ages will enjoy all the action! Come early, skip the traffic, and enjoy the family-friendly pre-show fun, including Mutton Bustin' tryouts, gold panning, trick roper demos, pony rides, blow-up carnival rides, mechanical bull rides, and much more! Also, be sure to swing by the Coors Roadhouse Saloon, featuring nightly live music right after the Rodeo!

The 72nd Annual Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade returns in July, running down Tejon Street through the heart of downtown Colorado Springs. Free to watch and fun for the whole family, this beloved Western cultural event kicks off the annual Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo in grand fashion. Money raised by parade entries and parade program goes to local military charities.

A time, usually after the rodeo performance or early in the morning, other than during the performance when the “extra” contestants compete in the rodeo. There are only 8-12 slots in each rodeo performance for each event—when more contestants enter than can compete in the performance, they compete in the “slack.” The times and scores of contestants in the slack will be compared against the contestants in the performance to determine the overall winner of the rodeo.

Are you ready for two minutes of pure pandemonium? Make sure to check out the Wild Cow Milking competition each night of the Rodeo! This event pits brave teams of four against a cow that may or may not be in the mood for milking. The rivalries are almost as fierce as the cows, with different military teams claiming bragging rights over the years. Don't miss this crowd favorite!

The mission of Cowgirls & Cocktails is to serve as a fundraising event for breast cancer organizations in the Pikes Peak Region. This year marks the 5th annual event, a “girls-only” affair in which guests are famously served by a pink-clad staff of male-only bartenders, while also enjoying dinner and exclusive shopping opportunities. Cowgirls & Cocktails has already raised over $60,000 for local breast cancer and military charities in three short years.

2012 welcomes the 2nd Annual Chute Out, a charity pheasant hunt with an emphasis on fun and camaraderie. Teams of four hunters compete to see who can bag the most birds, with event proceeds benefitting the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Foundation.
